COVID-19 AND YOUR RUGGERBUG ORDER     

OUR CURRENT OPERATIONAL STATUS

As with other businesses worldwide, the health of Ruggerbug staff, customers, and the wider community is our first priority. As such, we are proactively monitoring the ever-changing situation and reviewing Government public health advice, to decide how best to maintain our operations whilst remaining socially responsible.

To mitigate possible spread of Covid-19 and to protect the well-being of customers and staff, the Ruggerbug shop at Dyffryn Business Park will remain closed until further notice and we are not able to allow any customers to visit the shop.

Our customer service and online business is currently operational, but we’re working at reduced capacity due to the fact we are observing much stricter distancing measures and have many staff on furlough. In turn, our suppliers are also operating under the same conditions, which is currently adding to the delay

As a result, responses to email enquiries and dispatches of orders are being delayed by a few days. 

After dispatch, further delays may occur due to a general slowdown of our courier network. Following government advice, delivery drivers are no longer asking customers to sign mobile devices to confirm delivery. Confirmation will be signed in front of you by the driver instead.

Please be patient and rest assured that we will get your order to you as soon as possible. If there are any issues with your order, we will contact you by phone or by email.

We are aiming to be as transparent as possible about our current operational status, so please keep checking here for any updates before contacting us.

OVERALL STATUS

We are operational for the  website, Facebook (Messenger) and telephone orders, but with delays on many orders. The shop is now reopening on Monday 29th June with strict social distancing measures in place, and the pickup of ‘click and collect’ orders is now restored. Please be aware that this situation is subject to change if further advice is issued by the UK and/or Welsh Assembly Governments that forces us to reduce or stop operations, or if our suppliers or couriers are unable to operate a normal service.
